As a man with a large head buying a hat always presents an issue. I wear an 8 1/8" fitted cap, good luck finding that. Adjustable hats are lucky to be on the last hole or catch the velcro at all. If it does fit the bill usually looks to small. Not with Lamood trucker hat I purchase. It is adjustable, I took it out of the box, and the adjuster was fully overlapped, I never thought it would fit like that, I shaped the bill, then slid it on my head, perfect fit! After so many years, the search is over! With a pumpkin bigger than most and a funny looking bald pattern to boot, this hat fits the “bill”. Fit perfect right out of the box and my head is 8 1/8". Only thing I don't like is the the brim seems 2x longer than any other hat I've ever owned. Probably because it's a large hat so they figure to make it seem proportional the brim needs to be a mile long. If you guys have a hat that has a normal length brim please let me know and I'll order it! I feel like that kid on the movie the sand lot who has the longest brimmed hat known in existence! To be honest, I wasn't expecting much when I placed my order. However, I was very surprised by this hat. Not only did it fit, but I had to tighten it. Tightening a hat has never happened to me before. The style is a great distressed look and the gray mesh part is the perfect compliment to the faded black in front. I have a massive head (8.5) and no one has anything bigger than an 8 anywhere locally. I ordered the 2XL/3XL thinking I might finally have a hat I could actually reduce a little with the veclro band in the back. This hat is HUGE! I mean so big that at the default setting it drops below my ears. Great hat, great style but these are meant for GIANT heads.
